Devikulam

The natural mineral water lake - Sitadevi Lake – is where the area gets its name from. Devikulam means ‘Pond of Goddess’. Devotees believe that Sita once bathed in a nearby pond. A temple has been built here in her memory. 

There is an island in the middle of the lake and as well as a lodge. With prior permission from the Tata Tea Office, you can go fishing on the lake.
