Climb Anaimudi peak
At 2,695m, the Anaimudi Peak is the highest point south of the Himalayas. It stands inside the Eravikulam National Park. On a lucky trek, you might spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.

What can be a better leisure activity than a boat ride on a calm lake? Well, enjoy a day at the Munnar Lake. Go boating or pedal-boating. There are shacks nearby that sell fresh vegetables, fruits and knick-knacks.

Shop for souvenirs
If you’re intent on shopping, you can take back tea, spices and honey. Hill produces are quite famous here. Almost every other provision store sells tea and spices. You can also shop for homemade chocolates, handicrafts, shawls and sweaters.

Go trekking
Besides Anaimudi Peak, there are several other hills and mountains waiting to be climbed. Trek up one of these and enjoy the scenic view and the fresh air. There are many adventure clubs that can rent you trekking gear and equipment.
